SWINE FLU

Due to the recent swine flu pandemic, Trees for Life request you consider the following before attending your Work Week.
If you have a high temperature in conjunction with one or more of the following: sore throat, headache, achy bones/muscles, nausea, diarrhoea, we recommend you call your GP (8 a.m.-6 p.m.) or call the swine flu advice line in your area:

Scotland: 08454 242424 England: 0800 1 513513
N.Ireland: 0800 0514 142 Wales: 0845 46 47

There are also details available on-line at:

Northern Ireland http://www.dhsspsni.gov.uk

Scotland http://www.nhs24.com

Wales Cymraeg http://www.nhsdirect.wales.nhs.uk

England http://www.nhs.uk
http://www.direct.gov.uk

The World Health Organisation have details for anyone from overseas available on-line at: http://www.who.int/en/

If you are advised to stay at home please contact our booking office on 01309 691444 or email rosie@treesforlife.org.uk as soon as possible.

In the unlikely event you present with cold/flu like symptoms during your Work Week our staff will provide local G.P. details. If you are diagnosed with swine flu you may have to be isolated until you have fully recovered, which may be up to 2 weeks. This may incur a cost to yourself, therefore Trees for Life highly recommend you take out personal insurance.
